The Jersey Journal wrote yesterday that Hartz Mountain will be moving its HQ to Meadowlands Parkway, which may also soon see a new hotel, convenience store and gas station.
Local real estate behemoth Hartz Mountain Industries is planning on moving into offices into the building that formerly housed WWOR-TV. The TV station is already in the process of being dismantled. Hartz currently has its headquarters at 400 Plaza Drive.
Secaucus mayor Michael Gonnelli told The Journal that the waterfront lot next to the future Hartz site – formerly a Hess terminal – could boast a hotel, gas station and a Wawa, though no plans have been submitted by the owners.
