The sentencing of former Secaucus mayor Dennis Elwell is now set for March 6 before federal district court Judge Jose Linares.
Elwell was originally scheduled for a Nov. 15, 2011 sentencing following his July 2011 conviction on one of three corruption charges. Sentencing was then moved to Jan. 18, 2012 and is now set for March.
The former mayor appealed the conviction but was denied motions for a new trial and/or acquittal in October.
Political operative Ronald Manzo, who was charged with Elwell but pleaded guilty last May, is set for a March 26 sentencing.
