The Secaucus High School girls basketball team advanced to the finals of the NJIC Tournament with a win over Weehawken on Monday.
Just a couple days after beating Weehawken in the Hudson County Tournament quarterfinals, the Patriots extended their winning streak to 16 games with a 54-31 rout.
Amanda Ulrich led Secaucus (21-1) with 21 points and Damaris Rodriguez added eight points and five assists. The Patriots advanced to face Cresskill in the tournament championship game Friday at Becton.
But first, Secaucus will battle Lincoln in the Hudson County Tournament semifinals on Tuesday night at High Tech in Secaucus.
