Secaucus Patch reported earlier this week that local police arrested a man wanted for animal abuse that was hiding out at the Royal Motel.
Jerome Adler was wanted on 22 counts of animal abuse for keeping up to 10 dead dogs in his home at Stony Point, New York. Patch paints are horrific picture of Adler’s home:
Husky dogs covered in urine and feces and living in squalid conditions; two dogs were reportedly trapped under debris in the home’s backyard and had to be rescued. Incredibly, the carcasses of up to 10 more dead dogs were being kept in trash bags in the home.
The 76-year-old Adler was arrested in Stony Point on November 8 but told police he had been hiding out at the motel in Secaucus.
Upon further investigation, police found two more Huskies that were in good condition.
