Source have told The Jersey Journal that Secaucus superintendent Jennifer Montesano is trying to fire former high school principal Dr. Robert Berckes.
Berckes was suspended in April over the handling of an incident with a student who was found with drug paraphernalia. He subsequently claimed Montesano was trying to ruin his reputation and threatened to sue the district, but the conflict appeared to be over when Berckes was transferred to Clarendon School a few weeks ago.
Now, Montesano has recommended tenure charges against Berckes, whose response was due on July 24. The charges and Berckes’ response will be discussed a special school board meeting that has yet to be scheduled.

Again, costing tax payers money. This is ridiculous.
