New Jersey authorities have ordered the owner of Secaucus’ AJ’s GoGo Nightclub & Sports Bar to sell the business due to various crimes.
Anthony Cardinalle has continued to own the club despite getting convicted of federal crimes. He was found guilty of income tax evasion and conspiring with member of a New York crime family in waste-disposal crimes.
There has also been a large amount of unaccounted cash in the club’s dealings, according to New Jersey Attorney General Christopher S. Porrino. As a result, Alcoholic Beverage Control Director David P. Rible signed an order two weeks ago that Cardinalle must sell the business.
Cardinalle is also being ordered to sell his other club, Satin Dolls, which is located on Route 17 in Lodi and was the real-life location of the fictional “Bada Bing” club on “The Sopranos”.
