The Secaucus High School football team suffered their most lopsided loss of the season on Friday, a 47-6 throttling at Park Ridge.
It was the third consecutive loss for the Patriots following a promising 2-2 start. They never recovered after allowing a pair of touchdown in the first quarter.
Secaucus’ lone score came in the fourth quarter on 34-yard touchdown run by Derek Fernandez, but it was too little, too late.
The Patriots (2-5) have lost three of four road games this season and four of five intraleague games. They will host Becton at Secaucus High School on Thursday evening.
