As noted last week, the proposed school budget that was rejected in the Board of Education election fell by the slim margin of 943-941.
Now, the Hudson Reporter reported that Board trustees met with school officials on Tuesday morning to discuss a potential recount.
If passed, the budget would generate a $74 increase per household in school taxes. If the budget eventually fails, it would go to the Town Council for review.
Th deadline for a final decision on the budget is May 21.
