Will Snooki Find Her Way Into Secaucus?

Hudson County is buzzing this week with the news that MTV will be filming a spinoff of the hit show Jersey Shore in Jersey City featuring Nicole “Snooki” Polizzi and Jennifer “JWoww” Farley.

The show is being filmed in Jersey City after Hoboken mayor Dawn Zimmer denied the show a permit, citing public safety and quality of life. The girls yesterday moved into their apartment in the resurgent area around the Grove Street PATH station.

Jersey City is certainly a large city and offers easy access to the city, but one has to wonder if the famous pair will ever wander into Secaucus.

Secaucus is less than five miles from where they will be living and offers lots of shopping and restaurants. It is still unlikely though, as the town is extremely sparse on tanning beds and dance clubs.

    They are moving into the reconverted firehouse that is on Mercer Street.

    It ws for sale about 4 years ago — it’s really a beautiful place — MTV is renting it; they move out all of the owner’s furniture and move in their own.

    The owner must be getting a pretty penny for its use.
