Thieves in BMW Again Rob Secaucus Gas Station
Feb 9th, 2012 | By Carl Dispoto | Category: Crime, On tapFor third time in less than two months, thieves driving a BMW have committed robbery at a Secaucus gas station on Route 3.
The Sunoco station on Route 3 East was robbed around 3:00 am on Tuesday when three men jumped out of a four-door silver BMW and pointed a gun at an attendant. One of the men grabbed nearly $2,000 out of the cash register before the men got back in the car and sped off, presumably on to Route 3.
The crime follows the same pattern as two previous crimes. On the morning of December 26, an armed gunman assaulted two employees and robbed the Route 3 East Shell Station of an undetermined amount of cash.
On the evening of January 15th, a woman’s BMW was stolen when she left the car running while entering the mini-mart of a gas station on Route 3 West. Police reports said another BMW pulled into the lot and someone jumped out of the car and drive off with hers, with both cars then exited the station heading westbound on Route 3.
Anyone with information about the crimes should contact the Secaucus Detective Bureau at 201-330-2052.
And more importantly, be careful when visiting these gas stations at night as clearly the easy access and exit the Route 3 gas stations provide are being exploited by the perpetrators.

again, maybe there should be a cop posted there
Ok after the first robbery, why didn’t the owner put up cameras? Oh, it won’t happen again, oh but it did, cameras up?
The attendent told me they have the cameras up by the parking lot but the vehicle pulled on the side street(Flanagan Way) and went in the side door.
Also I think these places should close by 12 A.M…just my opinion!
