Santa Fires Up Secaucus Tonight
Dec 9th, 2011 | By Greg Hazley | Category: On tapSanta Claus will be riding the streets of Secaucus on Friday (Dec. 9) courtesy of Secaucus Volunteer Fire Department Engine Co. 1.
St. Nick will trade in his reindeer and sleigh for a traditional ride aboard the company’s squad truck, handing out candy canes and offering “ho-ho-ho’s” while cruising around town.
Christmas music, lights, and sirens will be the giveaway that he’s in your neighborhood.
Engine 1, based at 150 Plaza Center Road, says the journey will begin at around 7 p.m. with plans to cover as much as Secaucus as possible.
The group counts the red-suited, jolly old man from the north as an honorary member of Engine 1.
Here’s a clip of Engine 1 decked out for Wallington’s Christmas parade on Dec. 1:

Will Santa be coming to County Ave?
Santa with his firetruck entourage was particularly awesome this year!
Thanks F.D.! The trucks looked amazing.
what a shame we never saw the truck it never came down by center ave this year
Must have missed it this year, my nephews were looking forward to it, I am by Front Street and they always come down front street. Oh well, even if we missed it, it is a great thing they do for the Town, proud to be a resident of Secaucus……
