Wow, that last one sounds pretty shady.
WAS IT NOT TRUE THE 4 YOUNG PEOPLE WERE AT THE PARTY BUT DID NOT DRINK WHEN TALKIN TO THE POLICE THEY EVEN ASKED FOR THE BREATH TEST WHICH THE POLICE WOULD NOT GIVE TO THEM SO THEY MIGHT OF BEEN AT THE PARTY BUT WHERE NOT DRINKING BUT THERE FROM WHAT WAS SAID MANY YOUNG HIGH SCHOOL KIDS THERE DRINKING THAT WERE NOT CAUGHT MAYBE JUST MAYBE THESE 4 YOUNG ADULTS WHERE IN THE WRONG PLACE AT THE WRONG TIME LET THEM GO
Someone needs to learn the english language. Jeez. Is this what our schools are producing? Much has changed since I graduated…….
If that’s true they’ll be cleared.
Definitely agree with “Ole Hackey” what happens to them was unfair and uncalled for. They did nothing wrong and the cops are lying. They should be let go. These cops are ridiculous arresting the ones who weren’t drinking, and letting the ones who were get away. These cops need to get lives ASAP.
Bravo OLE HACKEY this must be looked into for the 4 young adults Sounds like wrong places wrong time
This is not the first time underage kids have been arrested in town and it will not be the last…you are actually blaming local police officers for responding to a disturbance or noise violation call and then doing their job when they find underage kids drinking at a house party. Does not make sense to “let them go”. A few kids are made an example of and keeps from other house parties from getting loud and annoying. Unless you would like it to be like other local towns where drunk kids walk up and down the local streets at night.
Doesn’t the 45 year old work for Randina? Hmmmm.
Rumor 1: Their were 35 kids at the party and only a few got arrested.
Rumor 2: One young girl was so wrecked the cops allowed her to drive away while they only focused on a few.
Rumor 3. A FORMER political figure’s son was on scene and allowed to leave
Did cops really do thier jobs? Sounds to me they failed to do their jobs, but again let me stress it’s only a rumor.
If any of those rumors are true than that is unfortunate, but same stuff happened when I was a that age. A bunch of kids get away and a few kids get caught, singled out, or are just unlucky. Still need consequences for underage drinking and making too much noise. Like I posted earlier, would we rather have no one get in trouble and have the kids feel they can drink whenever or where ever they want?
Break-ins all over town, the latest on Minnie. Focus on that and make this town safe again. I say we don’t have enough cops, but it looks like we have a ton of higher ups. Is the ratio really almost 50/50, the department and/or the politicians should be ashamed of themselves. Christie will make them all retire when he caps te benefits later this year. They will run for the hills.
Forget the kids, whoever owns the house those kids were in should be heavily fined and arrested!

Making “examples” of some kids and letting go of some without reason doesnt deter kids from driking. Kids will be kids, the only thing that will deter them from drinking is good parenting. Growing up in this town Ive had many chances to get drunk since i was in middle school sure I drank sometimes, but the only thing that kept it from being a 1 or 2 time event wasnt punishment, it was that I knew it was wrong. Usually the kids who had bad parenting did this on a weekly basis.
I know there is lots of underage drinking during the week in local bars. Everyone in Secaucus knows each other and they let underage freinds come in and drink and that is not right, someone is going to get hurt. The Secaucus police should do something about it, but the other problem is most of the police are freinds with the owners of the bars so this is a big problem PLEASE PUT AN END TO MINORS DRINKING IN OUR LOCAL BARS
Wow. does any one realize that this an unlawful arrest. It is bot illegal for people to drink under age on private property.
RE: voice of reason
I heard the owner of the house lives out of state and never seems to be on top of what goes on with her tenants and the property.
Well then, the parents of the children should be arrested for allowing their children to act this way. (instead of owner, I should have said parents)
